Bristol Big'Uns / 40k game next Sunday 2nd December

Hi there just joined the forums my name is Sam and live in iron acton, how did I not know this was going on lol. I'm fairly new to 40k played around 5 games at a friend's house so know the basic rules. I have around 1500 of blood angels. Looking for a game next Sunday if anyone would like to can do any points up to 1500 unfortunately my models aren't painted yet so if that's a issue that's fine, also don't have any terrain to bring.

Well try your best at the painting but I doubt anyone will complain if you are still learning. We have plenty of terrain so that's not an issue at all. New faces are always welcome.

I also have a load of marines in various states of decay/ damage but enough parts to fix them up that I would happily give to you for nothing

Sure mate. They need a fair bit of work. you may need to get a few bits to repair them. would just be glad they may see action again. Nearly 100 models in this box. god awful painting from when I was like 14 (31 now) Terminators, scouts, scout bikers, terminator lord and chaplain, biker chaplain, assault marines, devastators, an old school rhino, some guys you can turn into death company, 2 land speeders, devastators and a load of tactical marines. oh and a tech marine.

well any you can't fix either break them down for parts or chuck them. i'm never going to use them again and they are just taking up space.

Well you only pay if you play so If you just come along to touch base it would be great. I have a game booked for that night myself but I'm sure there would be time to look over your army.

Yeah got the codex and the statgem cards also use batttlescribe

Hi Sam, welcome to the club.I guess you are Dave houlding friend? I also play 40k but my main game is Middle Earth strategy battle game which I'm trying to get a game of this weekend if possible. If I don't I don't mind doing a small game with you. I wouldn't worry about non painted models and the club also provides terrain. I will let you know closer the time probably Saturday at some point if you haven't already got a game by then 😁. Cheers Dave.C

Yeah I'm daves mate played some games with him and my other mate. Yeah just let me know on here if you can't find a game. I have the codex and dice etc but I don't have the rulebook I'm afraid.

Did you enjoy yourself at Reveille?
Was going to chat to you some more but you had disappeared when i got back from doing some retail therapy with the traders.

I was there till the end but needed the gents and when I was done you had all vanished. But yes it was a great event, never been to one before.
