The Big Al Trophy will be more inclusive, so rather than using a single gaming system any system will count towards the Big Al Trophy.
There are a couple of principles to follow:

• Games are to take place at the club venue;
• Agree the game will be a Big Al Trophy game;
• Who took part and the result will need to be added to the pinned topic ‘Big Al Trophy Season 1 Results.’ As soon as is practicable, but before Season End.

How it works:

All participants in a Big Al Trophy game receive 1 point. A game winner will receive an additional 2 points. If the game is drawn, each participant will receive an additional 1 point.
At Season End a participant’s total score will be divided by the number of Big Al Trophy games played, or 5 if lower.
The person with the highest resulting value will be entered into the Big Al Trophy roll of honour and earns the right to look after the Big Al Trophy for 6 months , after which it has to be returned to the club for re-awarding.

Season 1 starts 1 December 2018, running until Season End on 31 May 2019.
