Hi,

Great game of cruel seas last evening.

We are playing another game this coming Sunday, so if you are interested reply so we can see how many are coming as was thinking of seeing how the points system worked within a scenario for balancing it.

We have plenty of boats so you need nothing, apart from a D10 and some D6’s.

Keen to engage but obviously if I am having a bad day health wise I may be forced to pull out.  Have just got the starter set as well as the Italian fleet (for some reason I can’t find any rules that they travel faster going backwards).

It was a great game. I’m keen to play again on Sunday if you’re happy to let me commandeer one of your S-boats again?

Im up for another go at those speedy boche boats! got to go rescue that merchant ship currently doing circles off the coast, without a clue on how to fix the rudder. On side note Italian warships don't have reverse gears, weren't needed, as they never left port in first place, hehehehehee

No problem Jordan, now that we’ve discovered that as medium boats the S boats aren’t eligible targets for torps, we might survive the next foray into the channel.

Ogrekan, cool see you Sunday.

Kevin hope you aren’t u well.

We were thinking of doing the spy scenario. We might run two games of this dependent on how many turn up.

cool ta. Two things, if possible is there room for me to bring youngest on Sunday too, to play boats. And second is there any future  scenario where need a destroyer? I have been looking for excuse to buy a model. Now I couldnt bring myself to buy a 1/350 destroyer cos they are expensive, but have instead bought a reasonably cheaper 1/400. I know quite a scale shift from the 1/300 cruel seas, but reckon may still work together, especially just for odd scenario not main gaming. Will look to build and bring down sunday to do comparison.Think s boats were some 110ft long, destroyer is 300feet, so should be three times as long, with scale shift model will probably come out only double length, but then room on table is limited! and its a game after all.

Bring your lad and the destroyer, as it can act as a Liberty ship.

As it looks like quite a few maybe playing, then scenario 6 looks ideal.
