Although I’ve achieved little on the gaming front over the past few months I have been exchanging emails with long time London mate Will & I’ve managed to get him to share his hard work on both Lion & Dragon Rampant. The fruits of his labors are preserved for posterity in files section of our IO group; here:
One thing that took me by surprise was his mention of siege warfare, in relation to Lion Rampant, which was apparently the subject of an article in the August 2017 of WI. Thanks to eBay I’ve secured a copy of issue 358 & will (when I’ve sussed out how to use my printer to scan) will load the article to the IO group.
Cheers for the moment.

There was also an article in WI 374 December 2018 ‘Bedford Beseiged - A Lion Rampant Seige Campaign’ by Dan Mersey. This gives a variety of forces for both Beseiged and Beseigers and a number of scenarios. The action takes place outside the castle walls so no large castle is required to play.
There was also a Dark Age adaptation by Dan Mersey - ‘Landwasters and Raven Feeders’ in an earlier WI but I don’t remember which one.
Cheers

Mike, it may be worth scanning & adding the WI 374 article to the IO files, if possible.
Well the scanning went better than could be expected from a confirmed Luddite and the WI article is in the uploaded to the IO group’s Files section, here:
I felt the handlings of many units by dividing your force into ‘Battles’ and dicing for the number of ‘fails’ a Battle may sustain that round has some legs. This is described on LR59.
Enjoy.
