Bit of a longshot but thinking ahead for when Billion Suns is published...
Does anyone here have any Relthoza ships from Firestorm Armada that they want to get rid of? I have half a fleet and would like to bulk it out a bit.
Cheers, Andy

Looks like Amazon are respecting the publication date of 18th.
Liking what I'm reading in the rules.

I've been awaiting the rules before considering what to do regarding toys. I have none atm.

I see Plastic Soldier Company do bags of space ships for £10. See 34 x ASSORTED PSC GAMES SPACE SHIPS GRAB BAG!! – The Plastic Soldier Company

A random selection apparently. Someone commenting on Facebook got 34 of the same ship ha ha

I’ve got and skim read my book. Was wandering about models. Looked at brigademodels.co.uk and getting a fleet bag fro there range or using my old xwing or drop zone models. ANy thoughts from you pros?

I know very little apart from watching a couple of Youtube videos but the general message seems to be that any models will do and utility ships and tiny fighters are just as important as larger ships, even more so in smaller games.
I have an old fleet from Firestorm Armada and have ordered merchant ships plus fighters from Brigade

Any toys will do Ken. I've been contemplating using top down paper ships...

Thanks for the tips. I’m fending off the urge to buy more toy, especially when they look as good as the brigade models ones. I’ll try and watch some YouTube vids. It looks like a 3 way game (post lockdown) is very doable too.

My order from Brigade arrived today. Nice miniatures

There is an interesting article on Billion Suns website about suggested ship sizes which includes this advice:
"Having your ships mounted on pegs or magnets so that you can temporarily remove the ship allows you to leave the base and flight peg in play, but remove the bulk of the miniature until it can again fit. Having a marker on the base that identifies the heading of the ship allows you to rotate the ship to a place it can fit without losing game state information"
(In case of physical clashes during the battle)

I (as in Scarab Miniatures) have been asked by a fellow club mate to get him a copy so if anyone else wants a copy let me know - there will be a 15% discount off RRP, possibly more depending on how many orders I get. - the only 'space' ships I have are the drop ships from the old space marine game!

These MDF spaceships look like a cost effective alternative to regular miniatures:
