For those at the game yesterday, there is a post on the Mosquito Fleet Facebook page dated 25th January which says that the question of smoke size was raised at the recent Cruel Seas bootcamp and it is 3D6 circumference per use of smoke, not diameter.

"This got explained to us at the bootcamp when I asked Rich from Warlord, he explained that it was indeed circumference and it is a "deployed" smoke and it stays where it was deployed, He also suggested you can play it as a line extending from the back of the ship that used it"

As Nigel said on the other thread a really fun game. Well balanced scenario with the plucky Brits sneaking a win. Rule Britannia!
Thanks for clarifying re smoke Andy. We will need to cut lots of lengths of wool 3 - 18 cm long. (or is it inches?). What with this and colour coding my torpedoes will I get around to painting the ships?
